All of our pieces carry a quaint charm with a blend of splendor and regality often providing a long-term sense of euphoric bliss one would feel when receiving fresh flowers.

Meet The Founder

New York City native artist and creator Felicia Huguley, acquired a love for flowers while working at a prestigious and world renowned venue in Manhattan that hosted galas, banquets, cocktail parties, fashion shows, weddings and other affluent celebratory gatherings on a daily basis. Often taking home left behind fresh flower arrangements at the end of the night, she soon came to realize the immense sense of happiness these posh flowers brought her. She also noticed that the profound feelings she felt were very short-lived, as these fresh flower arrangements lasted only a few days before starting to wilt away and die off. After several failed attempts to prolong the lifespan of these fresh flower arrangements, she came to terms with the fact that she wasn't very good at it. 

She began to scour stores in hopes of finding artificial flower arrangements that reminded her of the fresh ones but none of them did because she was searching for a particular look, as well as a feeling. While confidently identifying what she wanted and didn't want in an artificial arrangement she vowed to arrange them herself, tailored to her own specifically finicky likings. Although she held no formal experience in the art of floral design, she knew she possessed a passionate niche for beautification of all things appealing to the eye and a keen, vivid sense of design and coordination. After submerging herself for months in research, tutorials, trials, errors, extreme hobbying and creating dozens of pieces she officially launched the artificial flower arrangement company "Ideal Surreal Arrangements" in 2020.

Inspired by many things including memories of her fresh flower arrangements, humdrum lackluster department store artificial arrangements, and the arts & crafts community, she's inspired most by her own "I'll do it myself" attitude. Lead by her own internal vision board which dually acts as a compass allowing her to envision each and every arrangement she creates in her mind first and based on how each piece essentially makes her feel, she is then able to articulate it and translate it into 3D form. By continuing to create whimsical, unique, premeditated, intentional and unusually lifelike artificial arrangements, she hopes to stimulate positive thoughts, feelings, and emotions that will remain timeless.
